Cora Anderson, APCC
Cora is thrilled to be joining the EPIC team. With a background in the arts, she was drawn toward counseling by her own exploration of how creativity, story and expression can transform the way we see ourselves.
She is led by the principles of narrative therapy and feminist theory in her work. This practice involves de-centering identity from the current “problem” (i.e., “anxiety” is not who you are, but something you are experiencing.) By deconstructing long-held narratives—both our own and those imposed by the world around us—clients can start to break free from cycles of shame and self-doubt.
Cora is a self-proclaimed “professional big kid.” Through play, imagination, and authentic emotion, she likes to meet children where they’re at, while bringing the steady support of an adult guide. With five years of Montessori teaching experience with ages 3-6, and previous work as an early childhood music educator, her devotion to maintaining a playful and mutually respectful relationship with children shines through.
A message from Cora: “I’m on your side. I’ve been where you are before, and I have an innate belief in our resiliency.”
Teresa Roof, AMFT & APCC
Teresa became a therapist because she knows firsthand how overwhelming life’s challenges can feel—and how transformative it is to have a safe, supportive space for healing. Her journey has been shaped by experiences with cancer and chronic illness, perinatal challenges including pregnancy loss, supporting loved ones through substance use, and navigating the pressures that so many career-driven parents face today. These lived experiences deepened her commitment to walking alongside others through grief, transition, and growth.
Teresa earned her Master of Arts in Psychology from Pepperdine University and is a registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) and Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC). She completed her clinical training at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in the Patient Family Support Program, where she worked with patients and families during some of life’s most vulnerable moments.
In addition to her clinical work, Teresa has a heartfelt passion for supporting children and adolescents. Through both volunteer work and her personal and professional experience, she has seen the profound impact that cultivating resilience, connection, and emotional regulation early in life can have on a child’s trajectory.
At the core of Teresa’s work is a simple yet powerful intention: to help alleviate pain and suffering while fostering growth and healing. With a strengths-based, client-centered approach, she partners with clients to uncover their inner resources, develop practical tools, and create a life aligned with their values and vision for the future.
Graciela Corona, AMFT
Hi, I’m Graciela Corona, an Associate Bilingual Therapist with a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Southern California. I provide therapy in both English and Spanish and work with teens, adults, couples, and families.
I specialize in supporting clients who are navigating anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, generational and familial issues, cultural identity concerns, relationship challenges, and women’s issues. As a first-generation college graduate and the daughter of immigrant parents, I understand the complexities of balancing identity, culture, and family expectations, and I bring that understanding into the therapy space.
My approach is collaborative and client-centered. I believe therapy works best when it feels like a safe and authentic space where you can be yourself, share what matters most, and know you don’t have to carry it all alone.
Outside of my work, I enjoy hot yoga, photography, and exploring new Latino food spots around Los Angeles. These interests keep me grounded, creative, and connected to the community I love.
Jake Schuster, AMFT

He brings experience from treatment centers, schools, and workshops he provides at local secondary schools, where he has supported students in understanding the impact of stress and unhealthy habits, and has provided awareness and education specifically focusing on youth cannabis use. His approach is interactive, practical, and easy to relate to – helping kids see that growth and change are always possible, no matter what challenges they’re facing.
